Grapes from argilo-calcareous soil. The Merlot comes from Pla de Manlleu, at more than 700m above sea level, and its harvested during the second week of October. Ten months in Hungarian oak barrels. According to the Greek mythology, Amaltea is the nymph represented as the goat that nursed Zeus. The goat, the horns and the constellations are the basis of the biodynamic agriculture.
Look: Ruby colour and medium intensity with reddish highlights.
Smell: Reminiscences of black fruits.
Taste: Balanced, with a honeyed-smooth tannin, light and with a subtle mineral touch. Fresh and easy to drink.
Grilled meat, carpaccio, and rice with meat and mushrooms. Tapas (Spanish bar snacks), tastings and perfect to serve in glasses.
